British furniture designer and manufacturer Morgan unveiled two new collections at Clerkenwell Design Week this year: the innovative Aran collection and the Bilbao sofas.
Tile of Spain – Tile Trends from Cevisma 2023
After a two year hiatus, the Cevisama tile fair in Valencia returned with a flourish in 2023 and with 436 exhibitors. Exciting new designs, innovative technologies, inventive formats and inspiring trends were all present at a buzzing show that welcomed 74,115 visitors (25% from outside Spain). Exhibitors, organisers and attendees alike proclaimed the event a significant success.
Mapei UltraColor Plus with Zero impact on climate change now available in the UK
Mapei UltraColor Plus is the first of a new line of iconic carbon neutral products for tile and stone installation to be available in the UK. Initially launched by Mapei to the Italian market earlier this year, the range is now being introduced around the world. The new line will enable contractors, designers and specifiers to choose materials with zero impact on climate change, promoting more ethical and conscientious choices.
Thonet returns to Clerkenwell Design Week with new designs and classic style at Catapult, 1 Sekforde St, London EC1R 0BE
Inspired by the concept of community in the workplace, the stand at new space Catapult is organised into areas of activity, from working to meeting and from breakout to hospitality. CDW 2023 also sees the launch of an addition to Thonet’s S 220 range of chairs by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin (Industrial Facility), unveiled in 2022.

Interior architect Stephanie Thatenhorst has radically modernised the interior of a second home on the shores of Lake Constance. The highlight of this renovation project was a monolithic kitchen counter in HIMACS Emerald, custom-made by the workshop at Werkkollektiv GmbH, based in Stuttgart, Germany. It produces a sensational contrast between traditional architecture and modern materials.
