Khalid Bin Al Waleed Station, Dubi, UAE

Dubai, known for its opulent architecture does not let our expectations down when it comes to their metro stations. Khalid Bin Al Waleed Station, located beneath the Burjuman Mall provides service for shoppers as well as business people.

The structure is mainly made up of glass and uses state-of-the-art technology with a 150W projector which casts a blue glow, a stainless steel finish and LED lighting to complete the look. The stunning station is decorated in luxury marble while also evoking Dubai’s fishing and pearl diving history with pictures dotted throughout the station.

Czech designer, Jitka Kamencová Skuhravá, designed the beautiful glass chandelier, which many tourists describe as a 'giant jellyfish'.
