The top designed dog friendly spots in London

Fika, Shoreditch

Dogs can now experience relaxing Sweden in Shoreditch, London, by going to the casual Swedish-styled restaurant Fika, which opened back in 2008. 'Fika' is the charming Swedish expression for a coffee break which is a very popular and often daily occasion in the Scandinavian country. The food introduces traditional Swedish elements such as meatballs and gravadlax to give their customers touches of flavour from sunnier climes.

A rustic design with bleached wood, clean white tiles and exposed brick gives the Swedish restaurant and hangout a modern edge. Throughout the establishment interesting pieces of art and hidey holes are scattered, allowing guests to enjoy a private conversation should they wish, and giving Fika a very homely and comfortable ambience. Upstairs is a contemporary roof garden with cushions, benches and white drapes where dogs are welcomed as well as in the restaurant.
