The three-dimensionality, the brilliance and the magic mystery that belong to the diamond figure are the characterising elements of this surface. The volume’s extrusions, the possibility and the freedom to move them create a game that potentially leads the spatiality of the ceramics to infinity.

Diamante is a symbol that attracts attention because of its size and its shape; it is a new way to make an element usually flat as a piece of ceramics three dimensional. A platform lets the modules layout change and, playing with the volumes and their outlines, different scenarios and horizons can be created.

The judges said:

‘This 3D material is remarkably ambidextrous, responding to the vertical and horizontal and letting light play to add a delight to a design that is actually very brutal’
