Flooring Focus: Products

Desso
Desso has launched its new Transitions collection, consisting of four themes based on colour, structure and nature: Fuse; Fields; Pebble, and Wave.

The range is the first to be made using chalk sourced though the company's new 'circular economy material stream', which sees it partner with local water companies to reuse material that would otherwise be discarded or used for less valuable purposes. It also means that Desso's EcoBase-backed carpet tiles now contain 50 per cent recycled materials. desso.co.uk

Lithos Design
The Opus collection from Italian manufacturer Lithos Design brings traditional marble inlay into a contemporary offering.

Lithos Design

Developing this smooth cladding has enabled Lithos to enter the flooring market for the first time, something that had not been possible with its previously textured product range.

Opus comes in five designs and 12 colour palettes including Allegro (shown). Each module is sized 60cmx60cm and comes in a finished form to enable short fit-out times. lithosdesign.com

Grosvenor Wilton Carpets
Grosvenor Wilton's new Diversity Collection transfers the company's expertise in specialist restoration, historic and interior designer markets to retail carpeting. The 12 launch designs are united by the idea of 'a fusion of heritage and fresh new design'.

Grosvenor Wilton Carpets

The new collection is inspired by the company's archive of classic Fifties' and Sixties' carpet designs - with the addition of contemporary colours. Uses include wall-to-wall fitting, runners and being made up into edged rugs. diversitycollection.co.uk

Kahrs
Kährs' Oak Gate stained-oak flooring creates a multi-toned effect, bringing dark ebony and pale nut shades to a scheme.

The one-strip flooring has an even wood grain and is lightly smoked and stained to create a distinctive colour finish.

A micro-bevelled edge gives distinction between the boards, while the brushed surface and matt-lacquer pre-finish create a tactile feel. kahrs.com
