The top designed dog friendly spots in London

Shake Shack, Covent Garden

Located in the heart of Covent Garden you will come across the popular burger spot, Shake Shack, which offers its customers the incredible opportunity to sit inside Covent Garden market.

Whilst munching on delicious food and milkshakes customers can appreciate the stunning architecture of the market building that was designed by Charles Fowler in 1828. The design was particularly unique at the time as Fowler took a revolutionary approach. Rather than making it look like a fairy-tale castle or gothic cathedral, he concentrated instead on making Covent Garden fit for purpose, creating a Greco-Roman design which at the time was unadorned.

Fowler described Covent Garden market building as, ’so expressive of the purposes for which it is erected, that it cannot by any possibility be mistaken for anything else’.

Shake Shack is tremendously dog friendly, even featuring a dog friendly section on the menu so the four legged creature can eat with their owner. Izo very much enjoyed his caramel ice cream with a bone shaped dog biscuit coming out; being able to order something for a dog off the menu certainly creates a unique experience.
