With the FX Awards coming up on 27 November, take a sneak peak at the new FX Awards 2019 trophies from Armourcoat

Taking place on 27 November, the FX International Interior Design Awards are nearly upon us. We can’t yet reveal the winners, but we can show you the trophy they’ll take home on the night. Updating last year’s exclusive design for FX, specialist manufacturer and contractor Armourcoat has created and produced a new coveted trophy for the FX Awards 2019. The new colours are smooth blue and vibrant orange, brilliantly showing off the cracked gesso finish to the face, as well as the sculptural form of the award. Armourcoat marketing director Daniel Nevitt said: ‘The early development meetings were really creative as we worked with the FX team – it was a great process and we were thrilled to inject our own flair and imagination. The face of the trophy features a signature “cracked gesso” finish that provides wonderful contrast with the sculptural faceted design and great pop of colour.’
