Lee Broom designs new bar for Selfridges
Product and interior designer Lee Broom has been commissioned by Selfridges in London to design an innovative new cocktail bar to mark the first anniversary of the store’s Men’s Shoe Galleries. Opening this month it is a first in a retail environment.
It comprises a collection of bespoke furniture - in walnut and handcrafted in the UK - that transforms into a bar and is moveable, so it can be relocated around the store.
Broom trained at Central St Martins and with Vivienne Westwood. Other retail and bar interiors projects of Broom's include Nightjar in Shoreditch.
The three main pieces in the collection are a sideboard, a hostess trolley and a tall boy drawer set.
