A truly spectacular example of petrol station architecture, this service station in Italy manages to look both ultra modern and stylishly retro - evoking at once the curvaceous forms of modern architecture and the futuristic vision of googie [AND LINK].
Glass walls enclose a shell reinforced concrete, cast in special moulds. On the rear elevation, a red steel block is detached from the body and an illustration of a wolf howling, illuminated at night, draws attention to the restroom area.
