The Marseilles Docks project is the reinterpretation of the ground floor, courts and basement of the Docks building, creating of 50 retail spaces, 20 restaurants, a market, an exhibition space, meeting points and services.

It was created through a journey between France and Italy with artists, craftsmen, and manufacturers who – with the architects and Vinci Construction – recreated the virtuous dialogue that gave The Marseilles Docks new soul.

The collaboration brought a sensual dimension to the place and the project, through the rediscovery of its light, transparency, nature, colours, the new inhabitants, and through a Wall of Words that relate the identity of a place, city, and sea.

The Docks building is a project that was realised thanks to the collaborative work of women and men, all of them being really important to the project in both commitment and enthusiasm.
