Todd Bracher Studio helps a wide variety of businesses realise strategic differentiation through design. Over the past 20 years Todd Bracher has collaborated with some of the most prestigious brands around the world, from heading Tom Dixon's design studio and acting as the Professor of Design at l'ESAD in Reims France to working as creative director of the Scandinavian luxury brand Georg Jensen, as well as designing iconic product furniture for Humanscale, among others.
He studied and worked in Copenhagen, Milan, Paris and London before returning to New York in 2007, where he had graduated from the Pratt Institute in industrial design. After winning a Fulbright design fellowship, he earned his Masters in interior and furniture design at the Denmark Design School, Copenhagen.
His first design to go into production was the Freud sofa, produced by Italian furniture manufacturer Zanotta. He has designed pieces for companies including Cappellini, Fritz Hansen, Dupont, 3M, Issey Miyake, SodaStream, Urban Outfitters and New York City.
In 2012 he worked with 3M's new division, 3M Architectural Markets, to create Lightfalls, a system of energy-saving reflectors that can improve the efficiency of LED lighting.
A year after returning to the USA he was named New Designer of the Year at New York's International Contemporary Furniture Fair. He has twice been nominated for Bolig's International Designer of the Year award and in 2012 he was named one of 10 Product Designers to Watch by Interiors & Sources magazine. He has won four gold Neocon awards, three ID Design Awards, and two IDEE design awards.
