AEG has launched a new concept fridge PerfektFit with side-by-side fridge freezer, designed to integrate seamlessly with European kitchen cabinetry.

Designed specifically for European kitchens, AEG’s PerfektFit claims to offer all the advantages of a side-by-side configuration in size including door, that matches the standard European counter depth. It also claims to minimise the clean lines and smooth run of cabinetry as compared with a traditional American style model that is deeper and protrudes from sides.

Less than 60 centimeters deep, AEG is available in two versions: S95800XTM0 PerfektFit European SBS with tall fridge, a freezer and a wine cooler; and S95500XNM0 PerfektFit European SBS with a tall fridge and tall freezer.

PerfektFit features a sleek streamlined design. This free standing appliance also has built in dimensions to align smoothly with the living space. The user interface of ‘Perfekt’ has been completely revised, adding LCD display with touch controls. This helps in immediate setting and provides instant feedback on temperature and functions. The LED lighting technology on the ceiling has improved visibility and feeling of the interior. The energy class has been updated to A+, which uses up to 25% less energy than A class. The design of the solid stainless steel handles has been revised in order to be aligned with Neue Kollektion oven handles.

The fridge features DynamicAir technology and has the CleanAir filter that absorbs unwanted odours that can affect the natural aroma of stored foods. The freezer module is frost-free and can be combined with a wine cellar unit. The optional wine cellar unit can be set at between six and 16 degrees Celsius and displays the wine behind special glass that claims to protect it from infra-red and ultraviolet light.

All of the modules have independent electronic controls and digital temperature displays for precise temperature control. The modules also feature stainless-steel finishing with anti-fingerprint protection.
