This hotel foyer in Canberra is the recipient of Inside Festival's World Interior of the Year. Melbourne-based practice March Studio created the individual design for the lobby and utilitarian bar in Canberra's cultural precinct NewActon.

The hotel at the Nishi building, named Hotel Hotel (so nice they named it twice?), features recycled timber, steel panelling and concrete beams.

Over 5,000 wooden lengths are scattered around the walls and ceiling of the lobby, allowing natural light to filter through the suspended beams. The wood is supported by the steel rods that run from the ceiling to the floor.
