For Clerkenwell Design Week 2024, Kabin is thrilled to unveil Kabin Control 2.0, the most advanced, intuitive, and
environmentally focused occupancy detection system for personal workspaces in the current market. This new
technological iteration from Kabin sees newly integrated "Kabin Insight Sensing”, allowing for advanced customisation and
enhanced sustainability, through specific insight into usage patterns.

Unleashing the Power of Kabin Insight Sensor

• Kabin Insight Sensing ensures energy saving by intelligently reducing power consumption when the pod is not in use.
• Kabin Insight Sensing collates valuable analytics in order to optimise the Kabin user experience, for example discovering which mood landscapes the user gravitates towards, average air flow settings, and how lighting adjustments correlate with productivity peaks.
• Kabin Insight Sensing gathers anonymous, general analytics on pod usage, identifying peak times, duration, and frequency. These insights can inform better workspace management and utilisation strategies.

Kabin One, Kabin Two and Kubby, will feature at Clerkenwell Design Week 2024 showing the unique functionality and design in detail, including the customisable nature of the “quick change” exterior wall panel system.

Humancentric Designs

• A series of immersive Kabin AV experiences - soundscapes and visuals, are accessible via standard inbuilt touchscreens.
• Biophilic principles are considered with holders designed for plants.
• Outward facing, comfortable seats provide a feeling of security, whilst enabling a clear view and a feeling of connection to the user’s surroundings through bronze-tinted glass, which also reduces glare and enhances privacy
• Upholstery is soft yet hardwearing, with design-led fabrics such as Kvadrat in warm and refined, customisable colour palettes - adding texture, style and comfort to an already welcoming environment
• An articulating, generously-sized main work surface is thoughtfully designed to be rotated out and away, when not in use.
• Integrated storage space, fresh air speed adjustment and dimmable lighting ensure comfort, efficiency and allow for personalisation
• A faceted, patented appearance is for “reflecting” and “breaking up” unwanted environmental sounds. Acoustical testing shows that matching interior geometry provides a unique and pleasing acoustical experience for the user.

British Made
Kabin uses a patent-pending laser cut and punched, sheet metal structure with insulating and sound absorbing materials. Glass is toughened and tinted. Walls are clad in trimmed acoustic panels and decorative, sound reflecting exterior panels. Kabin is currently available in 3 models - Kabin One, Kabin Two and Kubby. Each come as flat-packed, are modular by design and can be adapted for outdoor use with a series of exterior waterproof and durable jackets.
