German bath, washbasin and shower floor manufacturer, Bette, has launched a new furniture concept that flexibly connects individual products in the Bette range to create beautiful bathrooms, and also allows bathrooms to blend into bedrooms.
BetteModules is a modular bathroom furniture system that provides drawer storage space for the washbasin area and can also complement various bath solutions with storage space and seating. The furniture incorporates a minimalist design, with push-to-open fittings instead of handles.
BetteModules is available with the surfaces finished in high-sheen gloss white varnish, in five matt varnish shades or with three natural wood oak veneers.
The design of the furniture is minimalist and almost geometric, and combines and complements the steel/enamel products in a modular system. The washbasin furniture can be combined with many Bette built-in or countertop washbasins. The system provides a high level of flexibility and vanity unit modules can be put on top of or next to each other, depending on the storage space required.
In addition to the washbasin solutions, sideboards are also available. These are complementary solutions for baths or to be used with the free-standing monolithic washbasins.
Comments Bette head of marketing, Sven Rensinghoff: "In the bathroom, the washbasin needs a matching item of furniture that can withstand the bathroom's climate and provide storage space to keep the bathroom tidy. Bette has developed a signature for its products and the task was to create the right furniture that bears this signature. We didn't simply want to bring another piece of bathroom furniture onto the market, rather one that fits in with our image, that's tailored to our products and that emphasises the design."
High-quality fittings replace handles
The design studio Tesseraux and Partner created the BetteModules furniture concept that, not only provides drawer storage space in an exemplary way, but also does away with handles. To achieve this, high-quality push-to-open fittings are used. They extend when the drawer is touched and then retract again softly when it is pushed closed.
In the same way that Bette steel/enamel provides both high quality and solidity, the furniture is made from the highest quality versions of coated or varnished MDF panel material, incorporating only high-quality technology and is made by a specialist bathroom furniture company in Germany.
