Mustang is a type of leather known as a pull-up leather. Pull ups are characterised by their soft wax finishes which have a degree of mobility so that when tensioned, the contrasting base colour "pulls up". The resulting "cracked" effect is the original distressed leather type. Each hide acquiring a patina, which when upholstered makes a unique piece of furniture, full of character.

By using soft waxes, with a matt finish over a base of natural earthy colours, we create a distinct cracked effect that evokes memories of the living and enduring freedom epitomised by the Mustang.

Mustang's colour range is complimentary to its origins, a natural set of earthy tones reminiscent of the landscape where Mustang's roamed, with tans, terracotta's and dark browns complimented by modern whites and greys.

Mustang is flameproofed to the UK contract standard Crib5, making it suitable for use in contract applications.

The natural variance in colour and texture common with pull-ups is reduced with the use of natural pigments to homogenise the finish as much as possible without compromising the character of the Mustang.
