Craven Dunnill Jackfield combines modern with traditional ceramic production techniques to enable the manufacture of large, glazed, 3-dimensional ceramic and moulded fittings. Each commission is unique and diverse, from pineapples to human heads.

Once a design has been agreed with the client, hollow cast moulds are finely hand crafted, and liquid clay poured into each cavity to create a cast item, before each is hand glazed and fired. Special glaze recipes can be developed, as required, such as unique colours and crackle glazes.

The ceramic expertise required to successfully fulfil such specialised commissions is rare and unique to CD Jackfield in the UK.
