German, enamelled steel bath, shower floor and washbasin specialist, Bette, has added three new baths to its BetteLux Oval collection.

The three new BetteLux Oval Silhouette baths are designed to be positioned against a wall or into a corner; so making a freestanding bath an option in smaller bathrooms.

They look as if they are made from a single piece, but are in fact made from two pieces of steel that have been expertly welded by hand and then enamelled with the company's BetteGlaze; a glass-like finish, which is permanently brilliant, highly durable, easy to clean and has a 30 year warranty.

The three new baths are: a bath for positioning against a wall (BetteLux Oval I Silhouette) and two baths for either left or right corner positioning (BetteLux Oval IV Silhouette and BetteLux Oval V Silhouette). They join the BetteLux Oval collection, which already includes free-standing, semi-recessed and built-in baths.

The gentle curves of BetteLux Oval Silhouette save a little space and enhance the elegance of the bath, while the interior features the BetteLux's innovative, comfortable and ergonomic design in which the soft shapes flow into each other beautifully.

In the new versions, the bath rim has been widened by 5 cm on the wall side to allow more room when leaning back, or to provide a storage surface.

The baths are created through a combination of high-tech production processes and by master craftsmen, all exclusively at the Bette factory in Delbrück, Germany. The design is the work of the design studio Tesseraux & Partner.

To match the BetteLux Oval baths, Bette offers an extensive range of washbasins in the same design. These are also made from steel/enamel.

Natural and Sustainable
Bette uses only natural and high grade materials: titanium steel, glass and water, that it crafts into bathroom products, using a combination of state-of-the-art production processes and hand craftsmanship. The company is passionate about sustainability; as well as being highly durable, its baths, shower floors and washbasins are 100% recyclable. Bette's energy-efficient manufacturing in Germany creates 2/3 of its own electricity requirements from renewable sources, and the company's efforts have been recognised with ISO 14025 and EN15804 declarations, confirming its environmental credentials.

Bette has introduced a shorter 150cm version to make the bath an option for those who want to create a luxurious bathroom in a smaller space. The bath measures 150 x 80 x 42cm from bathroom showrooms nationwide.

Colours
The new versions are available in white, Manhattan, pergamon, edelweiss, star white and snow.
