World’s best restaurants with a view
#3 Aqua at The Shard
London, UK
Interior designer: Jestico and Whiles
Architect: Renzo Piano
Atop Europe's tallest building sits Aqua. Lavish and exciting, the restaurant design was inspired by gin and tea, which both have a history in Southwark.
Everything about the restaurant speaks a fluid note of decadence. From the black marble herringbone and dark oak floor to the lush brown leather, this interior is exquisite. Award-winning designers Jestico and Whiles is the masterminds behind this ultra-modern space, with unparalleled views across London.
An open and well-thought out design allows every guest a spectacular view of London no matter where they are seated. Bespoke chandeliers adorn the private dining area for added sophistication and floor to ceiling mirrors reflect the view to further enhance the space, lending itself to a sense of being on top of the world.
