Vivanta by Taj opens new hotel in Coimbatore
Vivanta by Taj has opened a new hotel in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
The hotel houses 180 rooms which includes the Superior Charm, Deluxe Delight, Premium Indulgence, Deluxe Allure Suites and the Nirvana Presidential Suite. The Deluxe Delight rooms are large in size and sport a private sit-out near the pool. Nirvana is located on the building's ninth level. It features a roomy dining space, kitchenette and sophisticated-looking bathrooms while offering glimpses of the skyline.
The facility incorporates five meeting areas fitted with latest applications. The building also accommodates the Tango grand ballroom. The interior portion of the ballroom as well as other meeting amenities don warm shades of rich carved wooden doors which are inscribed with a circular motif. The look is accentuated with 22 feet high full-length barrel vaulted ceilings adorned in a golden tint.
The grand ballroom offers different configuration options and features advanced lighting technology comprising several dimming presets. This, coupled with elegant sound and audio systems, enables the area to be customised for a host of activities such as weddings and large business events.
The hotel consists of the Latitude all-day dining restaurant. The restaurant comprises display cooking, a juice bar, full height, see-through displays which are temperature controlled, and a spacious outdoor dining terrace. It has been equipped with floor to ceiling windows on both sides to provide optimum natural light circulation and allow outside views. Latitude also features a wood floor.
The facility also comprises the Red Pearl dining restaurant. The restaurant dons a contemporary style with wood slate walls and ceilings, rich, dry stacked stone walls, as well as slate and wood flooring. Other features of the hotel include a bar named Tease, The Spa, a fitness centre, and a swimming pool.
