Wyndham Hotel Group has unveiled new brand identity and product designs for its TRYP by Wyndham brand, which includes an updated logo and modernised public-space and guest-room designs.

The new designs for public-space and guest-room designs are specifically crafted by New York-based full-service architecture and interior design firm BBG-BBGM to suit hotel conversions and new-construction projects. The new advanced TRYP by Wyndham logo conveys a contemporary feel, besides being true to the original logo. This has been achieved by maintaining the original font, square shape and blue colour.

The new TRYP by Wyndham interior schemes are conceived in such a way as to mirror the brand’s new guidelines with a strong emphasis on unique social and integrated guest experiences. The brand’s three core pillars: cosmopolitan essence, Mediterranean flavor, and Spanish heritage - are highlighted in the designs.

TRYP by Wyndham hotels’ new public space design features an open lobby space called Plaza Central; a welcome area with check-in pods; and a warm, appealing atmosphere with assorted, authentic furniture. Designed as the central seating area, the space promotes enhanced guest interaction, and will act as the main social hub for guests. It also features an interactive ‘blog wall’.

The Plaza Central’s core component is the gastro bar that will offer Lavazza Italian espresso and specialty coffee drinks and a selection of international and domestic draft beers, Mediterranean wines, cocktails and beverages.

The redesigned guest rooms feature proficient designs and graphic ‘word walls’ with local urban references. Influenced by the simple European design, the rooms feature hardwood-like floors, an open loft-like layout and a large desk.

TRYP by Wyndham encompasses over 90 hotels and approximately 13,000 rooms across Europe and the Americas. Set to debut next are TRYP by Wyndham hotels in New York City, Madrid, Lisbon and Medellín and Bogotá, Colombia.
