1. Newmor Designer Collection

As part of Newmor’s collaborations with artists and designers, it has launched a collection of large-scale printed murals for the commercial market, designed by Lois O’Hara. O’Hara’s work explores how colour can have a positive effect on how people feel in a given space.

2. Technicolour

The latest collaboration between Saville and Kvadrat comprises upholstery, three rugs and two curtains. The upholstery and rugs are crafted from wool with seemingly haphazard colours. The curtains are woven from smooth Trevira CS. The collection offers juxtapositions of vivid colours and the natural sheep-like tones of wool.

3. Ever collection

This is the brand’s first range of upholstered products that has been intentionally designed for circularity and end-of-life recycling. The Ever chair and sofa collection, in collaboration with designer Ric Frampton, can be easily deconstructed for recycling. naughtone also offers customers a take-back programme.

4. Grohe Tectron Bau E

The Tectron Bau E flush plate joins the touchless family. The WC automatically flushes when the infrared electronics are activated and it is hygienic thanks to no contact with the plate. By reducing the need for interaction with the product, the infrared technology helps prevent unwanted germs from being transmitted onto the surface.

Tom Dixon Studio has teamed up with Piñatex to create a version of its WINGBACK armchair for the 2021 London Design Festival. It is upholstered in silver Pinatex, a leather alternative made of fibre from the leaves of the pineapple plant – a natural by-product that requires no additional environmental resources to produce.

7. The Clam, A Pearl of Light

Clam is an opal glass pendant by Ahm & Lund, inspired by seashells. Just as an oyster hides its pearl, Clam can open and close to ‘hide’ its inner light. An internal diffuser creates beautiful, glare-free light. A small, brass knob inspired by antique gas lamps can be turned to open the lower shade, adjusting light and styling.
