They feature recycled yarns, soft jacquards, textured chenille and opulent velvets to provide a sense of luxury and a tactile aesthetic.

Deirdre Dyson has unveiled her new 2024 collection at Maison et Objet’s ‘In The City’ event in Paris, taking inspiration from the natural world. This year, designs focus on the use of colour with subtle and soft graduating washes akin to a watercolour painting. Dyson uses her expert eye to stunning effect. Made using wool and silk, each are works of art in themselves.

The HAY Mirror-Floor Lamp is crafted by the Ukraine and Kharkiv-based artist Andriy Khorostyianov, with this piece a testament to the profound shift in the meaning of the commonly used words ‘how are you?’; a narrative echoing empathy and warmth, that have gained profound significance since the Russian- Ukrainian war began.

Duravit has brought a splash of colour into the bathroom thanks to its latest colour options for its vanity units, tall cabinets and washbasins. The six colour options were curated by Christian Werner, who was also tasked with employing his creative skills and made responsible for the formal design of the Vitrium bathroom furniture and washbasins.

Inspired by the allure of terrazzo, this new collection integrates its speckled features with the refined tactility of concrete. The basins – named Anno, Nema and Mesa – showcase a terrazzo insert serving a dual purpose as both an aesthetic appeal and discreetly concealing the basin waste, fostering a streamlined appearance. For added convenience, the insert can be removed.

These units provide an easily recognisable and inclusive physical touchpoint for people to meet staff and seek assistance. They are suited for use in public spaces, including in rail stations, airports, stadia and shopping centres, among others. They feature lockable storage, adjustable shelves, a retractable sign pole and optional LED illumination, and can also be branded.
