SYD Airport Tax & Duty Free, in partnership with Sydney Airport Corporation - the private operator of Sydney Airport in Sydney, Australia - has launched the biggest duty free store in the Southern Hemisphere.

The new store is part of Sydney International Airport's $500 million renovation, due for completion in May 2010.

Spanning 4,000 square meter of space, the store is located in the new Departures precinct. The store showcases exclusive products previously not available at Australian airports, giving international travelers access to a huge range of world-class brands, including Apple, Sony, Givenchy, Jo Malone, Kiehl's and Bobbi Brown; boutiques by YSL, DIOR, Lancôme and Estee Lauder; exclusive products such as Johnnie Walker Double Black and Valrhona chocolates; and the world's first Wiggles airport store.

The store also features a Tag Heuer flagship store which is one of only three in Australia, a Masters of Time arcade featuring Cartier, Breitling, Bulgari, Girard Perregaux; SYD cocktail bar; a 'pop-up' shop of Harley Davidson merchandise; and VodkaFest - a showcase of the world's top vodka brands.

Sydney Airport is one of the oldest continually operated airports in the world, and the busiest airport in Australia.
