Moduleo flooring graces WV1 Bar & Restaurant in Wolverhampton
The North Bank supporters’ bar and WV1 Bar & Restaurant within the new £18 million ($28 million) Stan Cullis Stand at the Wolverhampton Wanderers grounds in the UK has been completed, incorporating the latest in luxury vinyl flooring from Moduleo.
The North Bank supporters’ bar and WV1 Bar & Restaurant will play host to around hundreds of guests on match days and also serve as a bar and restaurant for members of the public and a versatile events space for a variety of functions.
The restaurant and bar area has been created with floor-to-ceiling glass panels and interior decor which creates a modern New York loft feel. The area is finished to an extremely high standard throughout and has been completed with 11,700 square feet of Moduleo flooring.
Moduleo’s Transform range was chosen as it was created specifically for commercial use. The thicker wear layer makes this product suitable for areas with heavy footfall. The Montreal Oak finish was chosen for the main bar and restaurant while the circulation routes were finished in Classic Oak to differentiate them from the rest of the space.
The easy clean polyurethane coating applied in Moduleo’s products also makes the flooring extremely low-maintenance, easy to clean and moisture-proof. This enables it to retain its beautiful look, even in busy bars and restaurants. The interior designers and architects AFL, who worked together to complete the project, made the whole area appear warm and comfortable with the help of Moduleo flooring. By dividing up the room into walkways, the space has been divided into a range of discreet areas which provided a flexible event space and entertaining area.
