Marquis Yachts renews design contract with Nuvolari-Lenard
Marquis Yachts with office in Monaco and US has renewed and extended its exclusive design and engineering contract for all Marquis yachts with the Italian design firm Nuvolari-Lenard Naval Design.
Robert Van Grunsven, president of Marquis Yachts states, “Nuvolari-Lenard will continue to be the exclusive design and engineering team for all Marquis yachts." The new alliance is expected to help the firm in reaching a prestigious position in the global market as the world's premier designers and builders of premium quality yachts which measure 42 feet and larger.
Marquis Yachts makes yachts which are marketed under the Carver Yachts and Marquis Yachts brands. Founded in 1954, the company builds its products within a vertically integrated, state-of-the-art yacht building facility.
J & D Acquisitions has acquired Carver Yacht and Marquis Yacht Companies from the bankruptcy estate of Genmar Holdings. The new company was named Marquis Yachts, LLC.
