Majesty 125 superyacht wins Arabian Gulf Yachting Award

Majesty 125 superyacht, by UAE-based yacht builder Gulf Craft, has won Motoryacht of the Year title at the Arabian Gulf Yachting Awards 2010.

The triple-deck Majesty 125 superyacht had a global debut earlier this year at the Cannes International Boat & Yacht Show.

The Majesty 125 yacht features embellishments in fine leathers, woods, and marbles. A variety of luxurious masonry is featured throughout, including white and yellow Onyx marble, Navona Travertine, Creama Marfil, Shivakashi Granite Black, Absolute Granite and Black Portoro in all panelling, inlays and margins.

Outdoor spaces of the new yacht feature lounging and entertainment areas in fore and aft of the yacht. Automatic retractable sunshade and Al Fresco dining are also featured. The sundeck offers a six- person Jacuzzi providing 360 degree views and two sets of outdoor wet bars with barbecues. The Majesty 125 is designed to accommodate 10 guests in five staterooms with luxurious marble en suites.

The superyacht is powered by twin 2,400 HP MTU engines, and is equipped with zero-speed stabilizers, two Northern Lights generators, hydraulically operated garage housing a tender and two jet skis, alarm and control systems, power management control and full, state-of-the-art entertainment.

The Majesty 125 is said to be the most technologically advanced yacht ever built at Gulf Craft and is the flagship model in the next generation Majesty Yachts range. The yacht has to its credit the distinction of being the first of its size to be constructed using the latest FRP vacuum infusion techniques, reducing weight while improving structural strength.

Other companies to receive a 2010 Arabian Gulf Yachting Award include Art Marine, which was named 'Marina Operator of the Year', Xclusive Yachts for 'Charter Company of the Year' and Yas Marina for 'Marina of the Year'.
