Slovenian domestic appliance manufacturer Gorenje has unveiled a convertible table named 'Smartable', which has an integrated refrigerator.

The 'Smartable' can be set in motion with the touch of a remote-control button. The central cylinder supports the surface and houses a fully integrated refrigerator with adjustable shelves attached to a rotating shaft. A remote-controlled mechanism raises and lowers the chilled revolving plateaus to the desired height.

Key features of the Gorenje Smartable include: fully integrated refrigerator with adjustable shelves; remote control to raise the refrigerated food and beverages to the desired height; the option to rotate the central refrigerator to serve guests; electronic controls with a temperature range of 1C to 15C; and the ability to adapt to a variety of living spaces.

The refrigerator is housed in a decorative lacquer-coated or stainless-steel casing with the base made of artificial stone Siligor. The central refrigerator compartment can also be ordered as a standalone item and can be installed or built into any other piece of equipment.

The Smartable provides ample storage and access to ready-to-serve dishes and fresh food that does not require cooking. It can be customised to meet any individual requirements. The Smartable is finished and enhanced with LED lighting.

The basic version of the round table has a diameter of 1,700mm, while the central cylinder has a diameter of 933mm.
