Carlton Hotel Singapore opens HBA-designed Premier Wing
Carlton Hotel Singapore - an affiliate of global community of independent hotels and resorts Worldhotels - has opened the new extension named Premier Wing designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA).
The new extension to the 915-room Carlton Hotel in Singapore designed by Atlanta-based hospitality interior design expert HBA has added 287 luxurious rooms. The Premier Wing features Gravity Bar, new gym and spa, and extensive banqueting and conference facilities. To connect the existing Main Tower with the new Premier Wing, the hotel Lobby underwent major upgrading and expansion work. It features a custom-made chandelier by Preciosa with contemporary styling including four iconic chairs by Tom Dixon and elegant artwork.
The new Premier and Premier Club rooms are custom-designed integrating the latest technology including wireless Internet with adjustable glass top work desks. Ergonomic Herman Miller chairs are featured to enhance work comfort. The guest rooms are equipped with plush 12-inch Sealy Posturepedic mattresses with soft duvet covers and goose down pillows.
A new gym features state-of-the-art cardiovascular and weight training equipment and separate male and female saunas. The facility features a total of 15 function rooms including the new Empress Ballroom, a pillar-less area with high ceilings seating up to 680 for dining and separated for smaller functions accommodating up to 32 tables.
