Cadillac Fairview unveils renovated McAllister Place shopping center in Canada

Canadian commercial property firm, Cadillac Fairview has opened the entirely renovated McAllister Place shopping center in Saint John, Canada, after an intensive six-month, $13 million renovation.

McAllister Place owned by Cadillac Fairview is the only full service regional shopping center in its trade area. The design of the renovated mall is inspired by the urban trend seen in shopping centers of leading international cities. The project has been developed by Cadillac Fairview’s architects and has been executed by local entrepreneurs.

The mall features high ceilings with skylights; brand-new flooring and ceiling treatments; state-of-the art, touch less washroom facilities; an entirely renovated Food Court with 35% more seating capacity including refectory tables; and warmly lit soft seating areas.

The retailer roster has been enhanced with the addition of well known, branded retailers that are unique in the Saint John market. These include: Aeropostale, Boathouse, The Telephone Booth, Yves Rocher, Freshly Squeezed, Lids, Wireless Wave, Mappins, Eastside Board Supply, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Koodo and Virgin Mobile.

McAllister Place is Saint John’s premier shopping destination. Officially opened in 1978, the center has a gross leasable area in excess of 464,000 square feet. Anchored by Sears, Zellers, Sobeys and Toys R Us, McAllister Place is home to 110 stores. More than 5.1 million consumers shop at McAllister Place each year.
