Art Van Furniture in Royal Oak breaks ground on design centre
Art Van Furniture in Royal Oak, Michigan, US has broken ground on a design centre known as Scott Shuptrine Interiors.
Scope of work will include transformation of a large segment of the parking structure into a Scott Shuptrine Interiors showplace. The new centre will cover an area of 12,500 square feet offering a host of elegant amenities. A grand staircase, sculptural ceiling, along with the building's exterior will serve as the three predominant design features of the facility.
The grand staircase will be built in glass, recycled wood as well as bronze whereas the sculptural ceiling will be adorned with curved beams. The look will be complemented by the entire building facade which will now be rebuilt in a black slate stone. The reconstruction will phase out nearly 40 parking areas.
The new property is due to open doors by October 2012.
