We're pleased to announce, the Opening Night Debate, taking place on Tuesday 6 February, will be hosted by acclaimed journalist and editor Louis Wustemann, titled Human Capital, Risk and Retention.

The retention of talent is currently the single greatest risk to businesses, it is also widely considered the hardest issue to solve. Yet, there is only one answer - create businesses and environments for people to be a part of and feel happy in, which, would be easy if everyone’s needs were the same. In this talk Louis and his guests will discuss the moving parts around creating environments to inspire a diverse range of employees.

Legends Live Series: Alys Bryan, editor of Design Insider, will return to host this popular series of presentations. Confirmed guest speakers include; award winning designer Matthew Hilton and architect, Alison Brooks whose accolades include winning the RIBA Stirling Prize and RIBA House of the Year.

The Surface Design Awards: Shortlist Announced

We were delighted to receive over 160 entries from 20 different countries and the judges have selected 40 projects as finalists for this years Surface Design Awards.
