Backings that Give Back We are on a mission to lower the carbon footprint of your space and to do this we have transformed our global backing systems.
To achieve this, Interface has incorporated bio-based materials to create our new CQuest™ backings, which include a new carpet backing that stores more carbon than any before.
CQuest™BioX The carbon negative materials in our CQuest™BioX backing - combined with specialty yarns and tufting processes, result in a carbon negative carpet tile when measured cradle to gate. This means that after it is made, there is less carbon dioxide in the atmosphere than if the tile had not been manufactured in the first place.
