Other participating brands include Lee Broom and Bethan Laura Wood. As always, FLOOR_STORY worked with the designers on several creative concepts and ideas – bought together in the final collection of rugs, which can be specified in a multitude of colourways and sizes.

The collaboration will see an interpretation of signature emblems and retro imagery, adapted from the Eley Kishimoto pattern archives. The distinctive boldness and eclectic flair of the 90’s infamous pattern duo, remains evident across the collection of rugs and has a synergy with their ongoing work across homeware, fashion, and interiors; The finished collection fits perfectly into the overall edit at FLOOR_STORY, where pattern, eclecticism and colour are always celebrated.

Pattern and Design

The star of the show is undoubtedly ‘Graphic Fairytale’ which as the name suggests, uses different patterns and symbols to visualise a story rich in fantasy and romance. A design seeped in detail and colour combines several themes and prints, across one striking signature piece.

‘Flash Loop’ A bold pattern is bought to life with differing pile heights, creating an effect of movement. The rug is presented in muted tones for more demure settings, and as with all FLOOR_STORY rugs, can be specified in bright hues for a more dramatic effect and bespoke look.

‘Quilted Mirage’ celebrates the abstract in a contemporary ‘troupe-l’oeil’ effect. Pixilated and enlarged, the identity of graphic pattern only reveals itself from a distance.
