Precision Lighting is a design-led specialist lighting manufacturer, based in London and recognised for the versatility and sleek design of its high-specification, precision-engineered lighting systems and luminaires. Precision Lighting’s range includes lockable LED, low-voltage halogen and metal-halide spotlights for surface-mounted and recessed track or Monopoint systems.
Precision's architectural spotlights are widely specified by architects and lighting designers in sectors such as museums and galleries, retail, and the workplace, where they are valued for their excellent beam and glare control.
Precision Lighting recently launched three new LED spotlight ranges - the versatile Oculus, sleek Discus and small-scale Pico - in addition to LED versions of the well-established Evo family of luminaires, combining aesthetics and power. The ranges share a sleek design aesthetic, are machined from aerospace-grade 6063-T6 aluminium and are lockable in pan and tilt.
The Pico Zoom variable beam LED mini-spotlight system has been shortlisted for the 2014 Lighting Design Awards. A combination of adjustable optics and exceptionally smooth movement makes it possible to position and focus the discreet spotlight with pinpoint accuracy. As with all luminaires in the Pico range, the Pico Zoom incorporates advanced technical features traditionally only seen on larger architectural luminaires, such as low-friction bearing-aided rotation and a constant torque tilt mechanism for smooth and accurate focusing.
Product development is supported by investment in research and testing facilities at Precision Lighting's London headquarters. In addition to new products the R&D team designs and supplies bespoke fittings including chandeliers created for locations such as the Hard Rock Cafe in Florence and London's Science Museum.
