A staned glass window inspired by bloodletting
Gareth Gardner is looking through the blood-letting-inspired window...
Stained-glass designer/maker Maya Stanic makes final adjustments to a contemporary window destined for Mayfair's Jack the Clipper barber shop.
Stanic designed the window to resemble a DNA sequence, taking her inspiration from the bloody activities of Jack the Ripper and fictional murderer (and straight-razor enthusiast) Sweeney Todd.
The macabre window, formed from 46 panes of fused glass, will be backlit as the focal point for a VIP basement space designed by Twist in Architecture
