#7 The Bagdad Cafe bench

Spanish architect, Helio Pinon, crafted the Bagdad Cafe bench for Escofet using only one sheet of Corten steel.

Part of the Morella collection in 2000, the project proposed a single material to be used throughout. The precision-bent 8mm weathered steel sheet provides a continuous line from start to finish for a unique texture and aesthetically pleasing silhouette.

The design comes in both the form of a chair and a bench, and are featured at the Bagdad Cafe.
