Tile of Spain returns to normal activity

After stopping the industrial production, all the companies in the Spanish ceramic tile sector have resumed their activity conditioned by the demands of the trade.

Since Friday April10, 2020, the Spanish ceramic tile industry has been gradually returning to work after stopping their production activity, following the restrictions set by the Spanish Government to tackle the spread of Covid-19. During this period, the Spanish ceramic tile manufacturers have continued to meet their customers' needs and the international orders dispatch times.

The Spanish ceramic tile companies are adopting strict measures and security controls to protect the health and safety of all workers. These measures can be found in a document, ratified by ASCER and the main trade union organisations, which reflects the high concern for preserving the well-being of all workers against Covid-19, especially in the current situation.

Tile of Spain companies are present in more than 180 countries all over the world and their commitment is to keep meeting their clients and customers’ needs with the same quality and service guaranteed by the Spanish ceramic tile industry in international markets.

Even though the Spanish ceramic tile industry understands the importance of taking the measures needed to reduce the sanitary crisis, it is also important to maintain the employment rate in the sector. Currently, the Spanish ceramic tile industry faces a difficult time in the coming months regarding the recovery of the economic activity as well as the national and international market demand.
