9. Schonbrunn maze, Vienna, Austria

Created between 1698 and 1740, Schonbrunn maze is both beautiful and historic.

Part of Schonbrunn Palace located in Schonbrunner Schlossstrasse, Vienna, Austria; the maze is made up of four sections with a central viewing platform.

The maze was abandoned during the 19th century until 1892 where the last hedges were chopped down; however in 1998 a new maze was created, paying tribute to the previous counterpart and covering 1.715 metres squared.
