#10 Preston Bus Station

A representation of brutalism from the late 1960s, Preston Bus Station was designed by Keith Ingham and Charles Wilson of BDP and built by Arup.

The building features an elegant and effective design on the exterior of each car park floor, and as one of the largest bus stations in Western Europe, can hold 1,100 cars and 80 double decker buses.

Since September 2013 it has held a Grade II listing to protect it from demolition after two failed attempts.
