The top 10 undergraduate and graduate architecture schools in the US for 2015


DesignIntelligence has published its annual list of the best undergraduate and graduate schools in America, with Cornell University coming top of the league of undergraduate schools and Harvard named best postgraduate school for 2015

Designintellegence has named Cornell University as having the best undergraduate architecture course in the US, while Harvard University is named as providing the best graduate course, according to its annual ranking.

As reported by archdaily.com, '1,400 professional practice organizations were surveyed and asked to respond to the question: "In your firm's hiring experience in the past five years, which of the following schools are best preparing students for success in the profession?" In addition, more than 3,800 architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, and industrial design students were also surveyed about their education, in data presented separately from the rankings.'

Cornell University moved up one place this year to knock California Polytechnic State Univ., San Luis Obispo - named best undergraduate architecture school in 2014 - into second place.

In the top 10 of postgraduate schools, Harvard maintained the top spot, while Yale University moved up a place to knock Columbia University into third.
