The London Festival of Architecture 2015


This year's London Festival of Architecture has begun, with events taking place across the capital.

This year's edition of the annual exhibition returns to London, a month-long celebration of architect that in 2015 will address the theme work in Progress. The London Festival of architecture has a featured programme of events organised by some of London's leading cultural and academic institutions, including the Design Museum, Royal academy of arts, RIBa, serpentine Galleries and Victoria & Albert Museum, and taking place across the capital.

Professionals, students, individuals and organisations and will throw open their doors to showcase projects, installations and studio spaces, which will include the this year's serpentine summer pavilion (it's 15th), designed by Spanish architecture practice SelgasCano. Other festival highlights will include Ireland's year-long celebration of design, as part of the international Focus Country in partnership with Irish Design 2015 and the British Council, in addition to the festival's first instalment of new Horizon, a multiplatform exhibition presenting the work of emerging Irish practices.

This is of course in addition to the usual programme of exhibitions, installations, talks and debates, film screenings, family activities, architecture evenings, walks and cycle rides. Go to the festival's website to get the most out of this exciting month.
