Gareth Gardner is on a bridge of love at the Royal Festival Hall...

Neon tape wraps around the forest of scaffolding tubes supporting a bridge structure at the vibrant Temple of Agape, which recently appeared in front of London's Royal Festival Hall. Commissioned by the Southbank Centre for its Festival of Love, the temple was created by Morag Myerscough and Luke Morgan. It features hundreds of flag-like signs, painstakingly hand-painted with the help of volunteers, proclaiming messages of love. The temple represents the power of love to conquer hate and incorporates an enclosed space for reflection as well as a temporary bridge/ staircase connecting the riverside with the upper terrace in front of the Royal Festival Hall.
