Nature Concert Hall
Blending music, nature and education, discover the pavilion for the Nature Concert Hall event
Incorporating all the atmosphere-inducing components - space, light, video and music - of the Nature Concert Hall event, urban developers Didzis Jaunzems Architecture (DJA) have created a striking and memorable pavilion.
Located at Gauja National Park, Sigulda, Latvia, Nature Concert Hall (2014) is a multimedia, nature and educational event involving art and music.
Its elevated exterior acts as wall for projected images and beneath the roof reveals a space for academic symphonic chamber orchestra of 20 people or more. The structure of the pavilion has been designed to decrease the amount of contact points touching the biotope meadow. Varying degrees of transparency can be created with the vertical fabric bars that comprise the walls.
