Mövenpick Hotel Ramallah unveiled in Palestine


Swiss upscale international hotel chain Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has unveiled the 171-room Mövenpick Hotel Ramallah in Ramallah, West Bank, Palestine, which is designed to become a cultural and architectural landmark.


Mövenpick Hotel Ramallah in Palestine is the city’s only modern five-star hotel. The property includes ten Junior Suites, eight Diplomatic Suites and two Presidential Suites. The hotel celebrated its soft opening on 1 November 2010.

Tailored to cater to both business and leisure travellers, the Mövenpick Hotel Ramallah includes 20 suites of different categories and state-of-the-art facilities. A heated large swimming pool with a barbeque restaurant and gymnasium are also available.

The hotel features the Al Riwaq all-day-restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor patio overlooking the pool. The Newz bar has been designed to serve as a great meeting destination with indoor and outdoor casual dining areas. The Sparkles lounge will make its mark as a revolutionary cigar bar in Ramallah and will cater to businessmen and women, or casual crowds.

The hotel also features the Yabus Ballroom, with 660 square metres of column-free space equipped with cutting edge technology and luxurious décor that will present catering for business functions, parties, or social events such as weddings and galas. The ballroom will accommodate up to 800 people, and can be divided into two sections. The hotel also offers seven meeting and breakout rooms, and a business centre with several workstations and fast internet access. It also includes two meeting rooms for business needs.
