FX is delighted to announce the winner of Intel's competition of a vision for the office of the future. We asked you designers to come up with a visual of the future office in any time frame you like. So we had entries ranging from five, 10 and 50 years in the future: some were quite barking mad but very enjoyable for all that.
Allen International was singled out as the winner. 'We really liked the collaborative nature of the office and the role of technology in aiding both face to face collaboration and the remote workforce.
The technology integrated into the design is not only functional but also creates an invigorating and inspiring workspace,' says Stuart Dommett, head of EMEA Business Content Marketing Practice for Intel.
The design team at Allen International, Nic, Niamh and Tarqui were credited with creating a visually open and accessible office, which transformed into a gallery and learning centre, thereby becoming a sort of virtual sales and promotion space, that was filled with experts to guide you to the best decisions. So collaborative, face-to-face working but without a desk, pedestal or meeting room in sight!
