Ingo Maurer designs incredibly practical inflatable lamp
German lighting designer, Ingo Maurer, has designed an incredibly practical inflatable lamp called Blow Me Up.

The light comes curled up in a tube. Once unrolled it becomes a 180 cm long lamp which can be inflated using a small pump.
It's up to you how you choose to display the inflated lamp, it can then be hung from the ceiling using hooks and nylon chords or propped up against the wall if you prefer a more minimalistic approach.
The lamp is made from plastic, metal and an LED strip which radiates the reflective side of the tube scattering light into the room. On the side of the lamp, a sensor switch can be used to turn it on and off.
With this lamp it couldn’t be easier to light up a room, so what are you waiting for? Blow up, plug in and bask in its warm glow.
