House & Garden magazine is branching out into the world of furniture design and where better to launch its new collection than at Decorex International 2017?

House & Garden magazine is branching out into the world of furniture design and where better to launch its new collection than at Decorex International 2017?

The new venture is part of House &Garden’s collaboration with furniture designers, Arlo & Jacob to celebrate the magazine’s 70th anniversary.

Conceived by House & Garden decoration director, Gabby Deeming, the collection is designed to be price accessible and offers elegant and comfortable pieces with stylish detailing.

The magazine chose to collaborate with Arlo & Jacob to create its furniture vision. The designer’s popularity and its rich heritage meant it provided a safe set of hands for the House & Garden’s furniture debut.

The collection is inspired by traditional houses found in the English countryside. There is an emphasis on comfort combined with delicate, pretty design. Statement pieces in bright patterns and sophisticated structures make the pieces a chic addition to any home.

A personalised touch can be added to the six elegant designs consisting of three sofas, two chairs, and a footstool. Each piece can be upholstered in up to 20 fabrics chosen by House & Garden and over 120 of Arlo & Jacob’s fabrics, as well as customers’ own fabrics.

Fusing classic with contemporary shapes, the collection has a unique personality and is instantly recognisable for its elegant designs.

Decorex International 2017 takes place on Sunday 17 September – Wednesday 20 September 2017 at Syon Park, London.
