Greenbuild International Conference and Expo starts today!
The world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to sustainable building design and construction, the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, begins today and runs until 10th November.
The Greenbuild International Conference and Expo begins today at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Centre in Boston, MA. Running until the 10th November, Greenbuild is the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to sustainable building design and construction – it can be no coincidence that the expo takes place in the same week as the UN Climate Change Conference.
The three day event givens attendees the opportunity to visit more than 600 top manufacturers and suppliers of the latest ‘green’ building equipment, products, services and technology, and is sponsored by the U.S.. Green Building Council. Attractomg over 18,000 attendees annually, the conference's attendees come from a range of backgrounds, including architects, business owners, students, educators and professionals in the building and design sectors.
Popular events include the Greenbuild Celebration (a networking event with food, drink and a live band) and the Opening and Closing Plenaries, which feature celebrated speakers from the architectural and sustainably communities. During the conference there will also be education sessions, workshops and tours of the notable, sustainably built buildings around the city of Boston.
The several dedicated product pavilions include a net-zero pavilions powered by alternative energy, and the expo hall boasts on-floor education amongst the exhibitors. These education labs include the new Applied Learning areas, which are designed to provide creative solutions to the difficulties attendees face in their various professions.
