Gold fingers: The hand of artist Noel Donnellan is at work applying gold leaf to a vast canvas ceiling panel. He was demonstrating the technique at Copenhagen's recent northmodern design and interiors show. Donnellan was painting for Brussels-based specialist maker Volta, a firm which creates painted ceiling panels for a wide range of projects including hotels, restaurants and luxury homes.
